See you there!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Thursday, September 21<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7-9pm<\/strong> <strong>E-400 in the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/ppZAfdteqCy\">Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rehearsal of Zwei Gesange by Brahms, arranged by Alan de Veritch for viola choir and piano.\u00a0(All violists are invited and welcome to play, bring your violas if you want to participate!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(<strong>NOTE<\/strong>: If you aren&#8217;t intending to attend this rehearsal and will be in Salt Lake City, please come join us for a Utah Viola Society masterclass with Nokuthula Ngwenyama from 6-8pm in Dumke Recital Hall at the University of Utah!)<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Friday, September 22<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3:00 pm <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lib.byu.edu\/about\/location\/\"><strong>Harold B. Lee Music Library<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alan\u00a0de\u00a0Veritch\u00a0PIVA Collection Dedication Ceremony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3:15-5:00 pm<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lib.byu.edu\/services\/primrose-international-viola-archive\/\"><strong>Music Library\/PIVA<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alan de\u00a0Veritch\u00a0Exhibit and PIVA opens for viewing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7:30-9:30 pm\u00a0Madsen Recital Hall (Harris Fine Arts Center)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alan de Veritch Tribute Concert, featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/jamesdunham.com\/violist\/\">James Dunham<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paulneubauer.com\/\">Paul Neubauer<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barrettartists.com\/artist.php?id=nngwenyama&amp;aview=bio\">Nokuthula Ngwenyama.<\/a>\u00a0The recital program features works that have a connection to Mr. de Veritch. For instance, Ms. Ngwenyama will perform a piece written by Mr. de Veritch&#8217;s grandfather, and Mr. Neubauer will perform a piece dedicated to Mr. de Veritch when he was still a teenager.\u00a0 The recital includes works by von Winterfeld, Nwgenyama, Dale, Benjamin, Mana-Zucca, Valdez, and Brahms.
