In a rare visit to North America, one of the world’s most sought-after violists,\u00a0Tabea Zimmermann<\/a>, will be giving the Primrose Memorial Recital and Master Class this year at Brigham Young University. Huge “Thank You” to Dr. Claudine Bigelow and BYU for hosting this event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Primrose Memorial Concert will be a complete program for solo viola.  Zimmermann will feature 2 Bach Suites, Reger Sonata 1, Hindemith’s 1937 Solo Sonata, and a series of Kurtag-Ligeti movements.  The recital will take place on Monday, February 19<\/strong>, in the Music Building Concert Hall at BYU<\/strong>, with an early start time of 5 pm<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Master Class<\/strong> will take place on February 17th<\/strong>, from 2-4 pm, in room 4146 of the new Music Building at BYU.  Admission to both events is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
