{"id":721,"date":"2015-01-17T13:24:16","date_gmt":"2015-01-17T20:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utahviolasociety.org\/?p=721"},"modified":"2015-01-22T08:38:20","modified_gmt":"2015-01-22T15:38:20","slug":"upcoming-viola-events-save-the-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/utahviolasociety.org\/?p=721","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming viola events-Save the Date(s)!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Utah Violists,<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of viola events coming up this month that you can\u00a0mark on your calendar.<br \/>\nThe first is the <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.byu.edu\/Event\/HtmlEvent\/27334\" target=\"_blank\">Primrose Memorial Concert<\/a> and Masterclasses with celebrated\u00a0violist and composer\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/atararad.com\" target=\"_blank\">Atar Arad<\/a>. \u00a0Here&#8217;s the breakdown:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, January 23 from 4-6pm, Masterclass in Dumke Hall at the University of Utah<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, January 24 from 10-12, Masterclass at the home of David Dalton in Provo, UT.<\/li>\n<li>Saturday January 24 at 7:30pm \u00a0at the Madsen Recital Hall at BYU. All these events are free and open to the public!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.giftedmusicschool.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Gifted Music School\u00a0<\/a>will be presenting Curtis Institute of Music President and world-renowned violist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertodiazviola.com\/web\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Roberto Diaz<\/a>\u00a0in a masterclass and concert on January 31. Here are the details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Saturday, January 31, 10-12pm, Salt Lake Recital Hall, Masterclass with Roberto Diaz<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Saturday, January 31, 5pm Winter Concert with Roberto Diaz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">These events are free but do require tickets, so get yours in advance so you don&#8217;t miss out on this amazing opportunity to hear Roberto Diaz teach and perform.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">And finally, mark your calendars and Save the Date! the Utah Viola Society is presenting a Member&#8217;s Recital on February 22, 3pm.
